Astana Economic Forum 2013: Engaging Change

First held in 2008, the Astana Economic Forum is well established as a platform for dialogue on economic development, both in Kazakhstan and globally. The Forum brings together government ministers, economists, public-sector representatives and business leaders from around the world to discuss current issues relating to economic development, growth and sustainability.

Produced for distribution at the event, held on 22-24 May, Astana Economic Forum 2013: Engaging Change highlights the strategic position of Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital, at the heart of Eurasia and the city’s pivotal role in global affairs. The book also expands on the Forum’s agenda, such as global commodity prices, infrastructure development, innovation and technology, financial systems and social development.

Astana Economic Forum 2013: Engaging Change is an official publication of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and includes forewords from President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Idrissov.
