Invest in Nigeria 2012-13

The 2012-13 edition of Invest in Nigeria explores the opportunities for investment in one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. After more than a decade of democracy, and following a stable election in 2011, Nigeria is making significant political and economic progress. This publication looks at the prospects for the next decade as the country continues its transformation policy under President Goodluck Jonathan.

Invest in Nigeria 2012-13 analyses developments in the country’s economy and financial sector, including the recent milestone of a new sovereign wealth fund and the continuing aim of raising Nigeria to become one of the world’s top 20 economies by 2020. The publication also provides in-depth analysis of Nigeria’s oil, gas and minerals industries and the interplay between external and local companies, discussing the opportunities and challenges faced by producers. The country’s energy sector, industrial and social infrastructure and agriculture developments also come under the spotlight.

This official publication includes forewords from President Jonathan and Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
