Newsdesk Media first produced the Royal Navy's yearly review, Royal Navy Matters (then titled Broadsheet), in January 2009.

The publication explains the role of the Navy on operations at home and abroad, looks at current and future equipment, and highlights the Navy's core aims and values. Particular focus is given to the Navy's people and how their skills, expertise and ‘fighting spirit' are key to today's Royal Navy.

Royal Navy Matters 2010 was released in May.
