Freedom's Challenge is a commemorative publication, marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Published on behalf of the Atlantic Council of the United States, an abridged version of the publication was launched at the inaugural Freedom's Challenge Awards Gala Dinner in Berlin, on 8 November 2009. The full edition was distributed a few weeks later, marking the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Brandenburg Gate.

Freedom's Challenge provides detailed analysis of the enduring significance of the fall of the Berlin Wall, how NATO has subsequently adapted to new challenges and threats and how the Atlantic Alliance countries are working with an increasing number of partners in the pursuit of peace and stability worldwide. The publication includes contributions from present and past political and military leaders and officials, together with leading commentators and writers specialising in a range of global issues facing the Atlantic Alliance.

Contributors include President Barack Obama, George H.W. Bush, Helmut Kohl, Vaclav Havel, Margaret Thatcher, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Peter Schneider, Frederick Forsyth, Adam Michnik, General Jim Jones, Hans-Dietrich Genscher, Michael Naumann, Lord Douglas Hurd of Westwell, Brent Scowcroft, Frederick Taylor, Zbigniew Brzezinski and Horst Teltschick.
