Invest in the Czech Republic 2014 has been launched at an official ceremony held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London on 29 May, hosted by the country's Ambassador to the UK, HE Michael Žantovský. This official publication, unveiled in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Lubomír Zaorálek, was produced in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Czech Republic and supported by CzechInvest, the country’s investment and business development agency.
In his first visit to the United Kingdom since being appointed Foreign Minister, Mr Zaorálek received a warm welcome as he highlighted the economic growth and openness of the Czech economy, and commended the publication and the investment opportunities explored within.
Lord Evans of Watford, chairman of Newsdesk Media, declared the book a “special publication that is designed to boost inward investment into the Czech Republic and encourage exports from the Republic”, and recited a poem extolling the virtues of investing in the country.
